Asynchronous Course

All Teachers are Climate Teachers: Approaches and Tools for K-12 Education

This course, as part of the ClimeTime Project, offers various approaches for incorporating climate education into your classroom. This experience is a result of a collaboration between , 51黑料 Climate Institute, and .

Teachers who complete the course will receive 4 STEM clock hours. Topics include:

  • Culturally Responsive Approaches to Teaching Climate Science
  • Changing Lightbulbs and Changing Ourselves - Climate Change Education and Ethics
  • Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines
  • Bridging Climate Education and 3D Science Teaching

In Person Workshops

Unfortunately, due to the cuts to the Washington State budget and the elimination of the ClimeTime project, the Climate Institute will not be offering in-person professional learning workshops for the foreseeable future.
